Overview

Paradise House Painswick is a home in the area of Painswick, which can accommodate 30 residents aged 18 - 65 with learning difficulties - It has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.

Set within magnificent grounds in the idyllic Cotswold countryside, Paradise House offers a strong sense of community and is the perfect setting for those who wish to lead an active and fulfilling life. All residents are supported to live life to the full and participate in a wide range of creative and leisure activities both onsite and in the wider community.

Because Paradise is a long-term residential community, places only become available relatively rarely. Nevertheless, we welcome new enquiries and will be delighted to discuss the possibility of a placement at Paradise House.

It goes without saying that moving to a new home is an important decision in anyone’s life, so we take the time to make sure that Paradise House is the right place for you. Our admissions process is designed to make the process as smooth and welcoming as possible.

A wide range of indoor and outdoor activities are available both on-site and in the local community. From physical activities such as Zumba, swimming and horse riding, to more creative and practical activities such as pottery, gardening and baking, Paradise House offers something for everyone. Each resident has a weekly timetable of activities which reflect their hobbies and interests and our team of Activity Leaders are on hand to provide additional support and guidance.

Clinical Therapy

As well as enjoying the naturally therapeutic environment at Paradise House, our residents receive additional support from Novalis Trust’s clinical therapy team.

Our team of qualified therapists offer a wide range of different forms of therapy including occupational therapy, psychotherapy and speech and language therapy. We also have excellent links with our local community learning disability team who provide specialist health care services to our residents to enable and support them to participate in daily activities and increase their levels of independence.
