Overview

Bannatyne Lodge Care Home is a gem of a home on Manor Way in Peterlee, next to the Intrahealth GP surgery . The home is purpose-built with 50 bedrooms, all of which have their own en suite facilities. Bannatyne Lodge also has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.

Our sunny, spacious lounges and dining rooms overlook the patioed area at the main entrance to the home.

We provide residential care for people who have become too frail to look after themselves, support for younger people living with disabilities, and specialist nursing care for those who have extensive nursing needs. In addition, we support short stay services; Respite and Day care. We work closely with the teams at local hospitals and support discharge to assess placements as well as intermediate care and rehabilitation beds.

We have two dedicated activities coordinators who tailor activities, events and outings around residents and their interests. In the summer months we encourage residents to enjoy the extensive gardens where many people relish the opportunity to grow their own flowers and vegetables. Family members and friends are always welcome to visit and to participate in events too.

Our catering team produces delicious home cooked food from a 5-star hygiene rated kitchen. Special dietary needs and personal preferences are part of this taste-laden service.

Bannatyne Lodge is a spacious home-from-home so pop in for a visit today.
