Overview
Introducing Bull Point House
Bull Point House and Annex is a 24 hour residential home for 5 adults supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and Autism. The house has multiple functions and events throughout the year that involve getting all individuals within our service a chance to socialise and build relationships, our staff spend much of their time building relationships with the individuals in our service and promoting them to build upon all their own skills to prepare them to live the most independent life they can.
About Bull Point House:
Bullpoint House is placed on the waterfront with beautiful grounds, this large house is dated back to being the admiral's accommodation and still has a grand statement upon first sight on this house. All the rooms at Bull Point have bedrooms, lounges and en-suites and some have kitchenette areas. They are all decorated in consultation with the individuals to ensure it is something they want. One individual loves trains and has a train and tunnel wallpaper on the entrance to their flat. Another individual has recently had their room decorated and has a Barbie pink bathroom. There are local shops and other facilities nearby. Bull Point has 2 vehicles and other individuals have their own cars so we can support people to visit family or friends and access the community.
At a time that is right, we are able to offer a pathway to further independent living. This might include accessing one of our Supported Living or Outreach services. We strongly believe that every person we support should receive the right level of care in an environment that meets their needs wants and wishes. Please talk to us about how we can work with you to develop a transitions package.
