Overview
Sunnymeade Quality Care Home is a privately run care facility registered with the Care Quality Commission. The beautifully maintained building is situated along the main A386 Plymouth to Tavistock Road, in the residential suburbs of Derriford and just minutes from Derriford hospital.
A truly dedicated team provide 24-hour residential and respite care for up to 40 residents in a comfortable and caring environment, where residents are encouraged to maintain their independence and continue to make decisions about how they wish to live their lives. Sunnyemeade is small enough to offer that genuine homely atmosphere where each resident is treated as part of an extended family. Our team of professionals take the time to get to know each resident, their life story and their family and friends.
At Sunnymeade we strive to offer the quality of care you would desire for a parent or for yourself. Our staff use their wealth of experience and their specialist expertise to plan for, and deliver care to, individuals with a wide cross-section of health and physical needs. These may range from general fragility to specific physical disabilities, or from mild mental health conditions to individuals suffering from varying degrees of dementia. Regretfully, we are unable to accept those who exhibit any form of aggressive or abusive behaviour.
