Overview
Stella House Residential Care Home is a home in the area of Pontefract, which can accommodate 40 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia.
Stella House was our first home within the group, materialising from a dream from the proprietor and becoming a reality in 1990 when it was converted into a 22
bedded care home from a derelict farmhouse. A further extension expanded the home and it is registered to provide accommodation for persons requiring personal care for up to 40 individuals.
As a family, we own and manage four care homes promoting a home from home feel for residents that promotes person centred family values in all aspects of care delivery. Although the homes have different legal entities, we have grouped them under the name of Fieldhouse Care Homes. We are passionate about ensuring residents and their loved ones experience a positive journey whilst in our homes.
With over 30 years experience in managing care homes, we have a strong ethos that ensures we provide a high standard of care to our residents, with a strong emphasis on their ongoing physical and emotional wellbeing needs, and in supporting and maintaining a good quality of life.
We embrace and recognise the privilege and responsibility that comes with being entrusted to provide care and support for individuals, and are committed to ensuring we build strong relationships with residents, their loved ones and visitors.
Our staff teams are integral to ensuring residents have a positive experience and each role is as important as another in ensuring the safe, caring, continuity of care. Staff are trained with specific knowledge and skills to ensure they are able to deliver care that is very much focused on respecting and tailoring care that meets residents individual needs and preferences.
Residents are at the heart of all decision making and are encouraged to have a say in the services provisions through regular meetings, feedback and generally shaping the services.
