Our purpose is to provide consistently high standards of professional care in order that those we care for can live as normally as possible where their individuality, independence and dignity are respected and upheld.
The philosophy of care is that each resident can be sure that their rights to privacy, dignity and freedom of choice will be respected at all times and that they will be valued as a special and unique individual in the home.
We aim to be ‘home from home’ and to create a ‘family’ atmosphere where everyone feels that they belong and have a significant contribution to make towards maintaining this happy home. We provide a comfortable, safe and caring, homely environment which reflects the needs of the resident. Each resident living in the home is an individual and is respected and treated according to their own individual needs, wishes and choices. We strive to deliver a high quality of care service which is reliable and consistent and enhances the residents chosen life style, enabling residents and their carers to be as actively involved in the home as possible. We encourage ALL residents to make use of ALL the facilities within the home as they would in their own home.
Our staff are picked because they are caring and compassionate and foster a supportive environment in which to live in order to enable a high standard of care, respect and service to be given to the residents.
The Proprietor/Manager is Tracey Whiteside. Tracey works as a ‘hands-on’ Manager and takes great care to ensure that a friendly, loving and efficient service is given to all residents. She is passionately committed to the philosophy of care for the home. Chestnut Grove is therefore a ‘passion’ for Tracey and not just a ‘business’.
