Derby Lodge is a home in the Fulwood area of Preston, which can accommodate just under 25 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for young people with physical disabilities. Derby Lodge also offers the following short stay services; respite care and discharge to assess.

Derby Lodge officially opened in 1989. It is administered under the private sector and registered with the Care Quality Commission.

Derby Lodge is part of the Lancashire County Council Preferred Providers scheme for physical disability.

Derby Lodge has been awarded 5 stars under the RDB Star Rating Scheme. We have also been awarded two wheelchair awards for our accommodation for wheelchair users. This is the highest award that can be offered.

We can accommodate 23 adults. Individual flats are also available for those clients who wish to enjoy self contained accommodation.

Derby Lodge caters for Physically Disabled (either through accident or birth) Learning Disability, Depression, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Visual Impairment and any other Physical or Mental disability where we can meet the care needs,

We are ideally situated in a popular residential suburb north of Preston close to a variety of amenities including Banks, Post Office, Chemist, Health Centre, Churches, Leisure Centre and Public Houses. We are also on a direct bus route either to the town centre or to supermarkets and the hospital.

Set in well maintained and spacious grounds. The accommodation is constantly being upgraded to a high standard and work is ongoing.

A Games Room with pool table, computer games and snack machine.

Bathrooms and toilets on both levels.

Passenger lift to upper floor.

Six self-contained flats to enable Clients to develop their full potential of independence, with adaptations to allow this goal to be achieved. These flats contain a separate lounge and bedroom with a wet room attached to the bedroom. Some are equipped with fridges, microwaves and sink units. All the flats also have call bell systems in all the rooms if assistance is needed.

All bedrooms are for single occupancy, all have hand wash basins and some are en-suite.
