Overview

At Lynwood House we support 10 individuals with learning and physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and challenging behaviour.

Our home benefits from two lounges, a dining room and a specialised sensory room, as well as an enclosed, secure and safe rear garden that is fully wheelchair accessible. We have an active in-house activity programme which includes music therapy, interactive storytelling, art and crafts, and music and movement. Each bedroom has en-suite facilities. The home is wheelchair accessible and, where appropriate, bedrooms and bathrooms can be fully converted to accommodate physical needs, with equipment such as overhead tracking, wet rooms, specialised shower trays and changing facilities.

Lynwood House is situated within a rural community, a short distance from both shops and healthcare facilities. The people we support enjoy visiting local swimming and therapy pools, the gym, the theatre, the cinema and shopping centres, as well as taking part in trampolining sessions, fully accessible horse riding and trike riding. We are also close to Bath, Bristol, a variety of tourist attractions and the coast.
