Overview
Oaklands is a detached residential care home in Berkshire, providing high-quality support for up to six men with learning disabilities, autism, and low-level challenging behaviours. The dedicated team receives specialised training to deliver tailored, person-centred support that prioritises each individual’s needs, preferences, and aspirations, empowering them to make their own choices and pursue their goals. Our team are skilled in physical support, including hoist assistance, and are trained to assist individuals with epilepsy, including administering emergency medication.
The home has six bedrooms across two floors, along with spacious communal areas for socialising, such as a large lounge and dining area. The garden features a summer house designed for sensory activities, celebrations, BBQs, and other enjoyable outdoor events.
