Overview

Linden House Nursing Home is situated in the cul de sac of Carders Court Care Village. It is a friendly care village that offers residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care. This care village is built on the site of an old textile mill. This is situated in the quiet and peaceful area of Castleton, not far from Rochdale Town.
Linden House offers specialist Dementia Nursing / EMI Care. This means we provide the same high-quality personal care and support that you would receive in any Residential Care Homes but with the added benefit of round the clock qualified nursing care and thus deliver the highest level of medical care outside of a hospital setting.
Linden House can house up to 30 residents who are accommodated in 30 single rooms. Our rooms are warm, comfy and spacious. Linden House provides furniture that meets the National Standards. Residents can spend time in the lounges with family and friends and interact with each other through our daily activities. Linden House is equipped with lifting and bathing aids to meet the needs of client’s individual needs. The well-lit long corridors of the home lets the residents who wants to walk around have that freedom and choice to roam around safely and comfortably. Linden House offers accessible enclosed garden with extensive grounds and pathways for you to access with a member of staff for assistance. Our beautiful gardens are a great place to relax and unwind.
The home is staffed with a nurse round the clock. The nurse is supported with a team of senior care assistant, care assistant, hostess, activity co-ordinator, housekeeping staff and catering and maintenance team. Each member of our team receives specialist training for their individual role. They are equipped to do their job role after relevant training (theoretical and practical) and induction process. All new staff receives induction training which incorporates the Care certificate, we aim to complete the Care Certificate within twelve weeks, with ongoing personal development for all roles. All members of staff wear name Photo ID cards/ badges for identification, and you can find a list of our key staff and department managers in the Staff photo board in the home.
