Overview
Willows Care Home is a purpose-built care home with spacious landscaped gardens in a pleasant residential area of Romford.
Willows, which has a CQC rating of ‘good’, has 72 generously sized ensuite bedrooms spread over three floors. Each is equipped with an adjustable automatic bed with a handset control for additional comfort, a wardrobe, lockable bedside cabinet, chest of drawers/dressing table, cosy armchair, a nurse-call system, TV and free Wi-Fi. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with photos as well as favourite ornaments and small items of furniture to help them to settle in quickly.
All our bright, comfortable rooms have large windows with attractive views, and some ground-floor rooms also have doors that open out onto our secure garden. Residents with green fingers can create their own potted garden or hang baskets filled with favourite flowers.
Our nursing care residents mostly live on the ground floor where those who are more mobile can get around easily from their own room to the dining room and lounge. On the second and third floors we have secure floors for residents living with dementia, including specialist care for those who find day-to-day life particularly challenging. Our staff are highly trained and experienced, and our genuine passion for caring for people is very much appreciated by our residents and their relatives.
We understand the importance of a welcoming environment and the impact it has on our residents’ emotional wellbeing, so in addition to all the advanced facilities you would expect from a modern care facility, we are proud to have created a warm and homely feel that you will experience from the moment you walk through the door.
Everything we do – from our care and menu planning to our activities sessions and surveying residents, families and professional contacts for feedback – is designed to maximise all our residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.
