The Willows Care Home is Located in a quiet Salford residential area, The Willows Nursing Home is ideally situated within 2 miles of Manchester City Centre and overlooks Albert Park and Broughton Cricket and Rugby Club. The Home has easy access to bus services and is a short walk from local shops and amenities. The home offers long term and respite residential and nursing care for the elderly. The Grade Il listed building has been extended and tastefully furnished and equipped to a very high standard to create a comfortable living environment. Accommodation is provided over two floors, with lift access, where Residents have a choice of lounge and dining areas throughout the home and therapeutic assisted bath and shower rooms. A hair salon and an activity room have also been incorporated. There is easy access for Residents to the landscaped gardens, walkways, and private courtyard. The 49 rooms at The Willows are offered as a choice of single, single en-suite or companion rooms, which are fully furnished to a high standard. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to help create a sense of home from home, familiarity and belonging. Residents may take meals in a choice of dining areas, gardens or if they wish, in the privacy of their own rooms. Using local produce our chefs prepare varied, nutritionally balanced, and appetising home cooked meals, dedicated to ensuring all dietary and or individual preferences are met. There is always a choice of menu, refreshments and snacks that are available throughout the day.
Life at The Willows is very much home from home and an active lifestyle is encouraged, with friends and relatives always welcome. The activities organiser arranges a diverse social calendar of activities and entertainment in groups and on a one-to-one basis tailored to resident's needs. The Home has a minibus available weekly shared amongst our sister homes for trips into the community and the North-West of England e.g. supermarket, library, Heaton Park, and Blackpool. There is a weekly activities programme and monthly entertainment. Activities at The Willows include:

The Willows prides itself with our select team of experienced, loyal, and long-term staff who are chosen just as much for their compassionate and caring natures as for their qualifications and experience. Our staff are given appropriate up to date training by our in-house Training Officer. Our approach to care is to ensure that all our residents receive individual planned person-centred high-quality care, which promotes dignity and choice and constantly seeks to improve their quality of life. Freedom and privacy are respectfully maintained, yet help is always on hand.
