Overview
Avon Court is part of Avonbourne Care Centre in Old Sarum, just north of Salisbury. The care home is purpose-built and can accommodate up to 48 residents in spacious en-suite bedrooms. Avon Court is for residents living with dementia, where specially trained carers are on hand to support each individual, and their families, through each step of the dementia journey. Avon Court is set over three floors, one of which is home to male residents only and caters to their specific hobbies and interests.
The home is part of a vibrant community where residents are able to live life to the full, with help on hand 24 hours a day. There are lots of meaningful activities each week, co-ordinated by the events team according to each person's interests. Avon Court has beautifully furnished living accommodation, and fully accessible gardens which can be enjoyed all year round.
The home has a 'Good' rating from the CQC and offers both permanent and short-term respite stays.
