Overview

Jervaulx is a two-storey building, comprising of three separate houses interlinked on the ground floor by internal corridors.
Care and accommodation is provided in eighteen single rooms for people aged between 18-65 who have a learning disability.

The service provides three separate provisions, traditional residential care for up to six people, a respite provistion, for people who normally live at home, main purpose is provide a break both for the carer (respite) and enjoyable away from home breaks for the person who is being cared for (short breaks), and a Stepping Stones programme, providing opportunities to help build and develop basic living skills with a scope to move into independent or supported living accommodation.

Jervaulx is situated in the New Skelton area of Saltburn By The Sea.
