Overview
At Derwent Cottage, we provide specialist, person-centred support to four people with learning and physical disabilities, autism, mental health conditions or other complex needs.
Our large two-storey home has a variety of adaptions to meet people’s needs - including wheelchair accessibility, tracking and hoist systems, height adjustable beds, specialist bathrooms and a sensory room. Our four spacious bedrooms are also all equipped with their own en-suite facilities.
Derwent Cottage is in the quiet village of Seamer, which is located within the North Yorkshire coastal route and National Parks. The home is close to local facilities, shops, pubs, parks and recreational areas. We are also nearby local bus routes and are just five miles from the seaside town of Scarborough.
