Briarfields is a home in the Belle Vue area of Shrewsbury, which can accommodate just over 40 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia. Briarfields also offers the following short stay services; respite care.

Activities
Our specially trained and enthusiastic activities staff are excellent at helping our residents enjoy their life with us at Briarfield's where our staff work with residents to create a week by week schedule of activities to include a mix of physical, social, creative, recreational, sensory, relaxation and reminiscence.

In addition to the rich and varied activity programme at Briarfield's, staff also arrange outings to local areas of interest, organise events throughout the year and provide wonderful entertainment. We encourage residents to get involved in day-to-day life in the home from housekeeping and baking to growing vegetables and keeping busy in the garden.

Food & Drink
At Briarfields we take our culinary skills very seriously indeed. As well as serving lunch, we make sure our residents have easy access to snacks and drinks throughout the day and night. Proper nutrition and hydration are essential to health and wellbeing.

We cater to all dietary requirements including supplements and following assessment guidance by the Speech and Language Team (SaLT). Briarfields meals are freshly prepared on site by a qualified chef using locally sourced produce and we cater for all requirements including vegan, vegetarian, dairy or gluten-free diets.

Briarfields has the highest possible 5-star food hygiene rating assessed regularly and independently.
