Overview
Court Regis care home in Sittingbourne provides a warm, welcoming and friendly environment for those living with dementia. The home boasts beautifully decorated rooms, large bright lounges and beautifully designed bedrooms to support person centred care, all overlooking the gardens surrounding the home. Other facilities include a spacious dining area, where residents can enjoy great meals every day or take part in the many dining events that take place at the home.
Court Regis work to create a welcoming atmosphere in which residents enjoy activities, go on outings and socialise with other residents and staff. At the heart of the home is our philosophy of care, the Eden Alternative (Awarded Gold), where staff encourage social interaction, engagement and work towards the eradication of loneliness and boredom.
Residents are supported to use the outdoor log cabin for a relaxing drink and a bite to eat with friends and family, or spend some time in the beautiful gardens around the home. The minibus also gives residents the opportunity for day trips out to one of the many local places of interest.
The home is renowned for its day trips and outside the box thinking when it comes to activities. Day trips out have included Buckingham Place garden party, pantomimes, pub lunches, boat rides and much more!
All laundry is included and managed by the homes domestic team but should residents wish to continue independently with daily tasks such as cleaning and laundry, there is always practical support available from staff to do so.
There are communal tablets available for residents wanting to browse the internet or communicate with loved ones through email or video.
In addition to residential care, Court Regis offers a respite care service that gives family carers or caregivers the chance to have a break from caring, go on holiday or simply have some well-earned time off.
Court Regis has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia.
