Our team always promotes and provides each of residents with an individualised care plan, including a comprehensive assessment of care needs when a resident moves in. We believe that this allows us to prepare and provide a unique and high level of care to each of the residents who stay with us. We pride ourselves on the care and attention we give to our residents and their families. It is the teams’ responsibility and priority to give the physical and emotional support needed right from the beginning when your loved ones move in and during their time with us.
We have 65 five tastefully decorated bedrooms, some of which open onto our central courtyard. All our rooms offer internet access as well as TV ariel and phone sockets for our residents. Our rooms are wheelchair accessible and include call systems, we offer our residents the opportunity to bring in their own furniture and memorabilia into their room to make it feel like home.
We have beautifully set dining rooms and with a wide choice of delicious home cooked meals, residents will always find something to their taste at meal times. Should a resident choose to eat in the comfort of their own room staff will happily ensure that they are accommodated. Family members and friends are always welcome into our home to join their loved ones over a lovely meal prepared on site by our team in the 5-star kitchen. Skelmersdale Care Home also cater for celebrations and birthdays. Fresh snacks, fruit and refreshments are available around the clock for our residents.
Aaron Crest Home has two spacious lounges where residents can socialise, enjoy their favourite TV shows or simply relax and enjoy the peace and quiet in addition to the 2 quiet lounges where residents and family members can have some private time. The extensive gardens include both secure and open patio areas as well as our attractive courtyard garden which features raised flowerbeds that offer residents the opportunity to tend the established plants and flowers and enjoy the warmth of the summer months.
We have a dedicated hair salon, and host regular visits from healthcare practitioners such as the dentist, optician and podiatrist.
Aaron Crest Care Home Skelmersdale offers a range of activities including games, arts and crafts and one to one pamper sessions. Our activity schedule is designed around our residents’ choices and our dedicated activities coordinator also takes residents out on day trips to their favourite spots.
