Welcome to Nicholas House
At Nicholas House, based in Burnham, Buckinghamshire, we provide day, respite, rehabilitation and residential care, including those with mild dementia, for 25 residents. We provide the best possible care, comfort and happiness to meet the individual and special needs of every guest.
Nicholas House is a care home within the large village of Burnham which lies between Maidenhead and Slough. The house is perfectly situated close to all local amenities including shops, parks and cafés. Burnham Beeches National Nature Reserve lies North to the village and is excellent for wildlife spotting. We have excellent transport links which includes the Burnham railway station which is part of the Elizabeth Line.

This promise means we have the time to share friendships, understand individual needs, interests and preferences; and make every day more fulfilling, so everyone feels valued, content, cared for and safe.
We provide regular entertainment for residents, including reminiscence therapy, musical, movement, flower-arranging and arts & crafts activities. We have our own minibus and arrange regular day-trips out for residents. Previous trips have included local gardens and boat trips, which were great days out. In the warmer summer months, we utilise our lovely garden by organising a tea parties and our Summer Fair event for our Residents and the wider local community, which is always very well attended and enjoyed by all.
