Overview
A 2024 Carehome.co.uk Award winner, Burnworthy House is a dementia-friendly care home for up to 34 residents. If you’re not yet ready to make the long-term move to a care home, we also offer short stays for respite care, and day care.
Residents are encouraged to put their own stamp on their bedroom and make it their own, putting up their own pictures and photos. Each room has an emergency call system and a vanity unit; most rooms have en-suite facilities. Whilst rooms are single, it may be possible to arrange shared accommodation. We have a hairdressing salon onsite with a professional hairdresser visiting twice a week. A doctor from the local surgery visits on a weekly basis and a chiropodist visits regularly.
Burnworthy House has been providing compassionate, high quality care in South Petherton since the 1970s. We strive to ensure that our home is a welcoming place and have been rated ‘Good’ by the CQC at their most recent inspection.
