Overview
Ivydene is a residential care home located in Southampton, supporting up to eight people with learning disabilities.
This spacious home is set across three floors and is fully wheelchair accessible throughout. The ground floor hosts our communal spaces, with a large kitchen, plus a lounge, dining room, and an accessible bathroom with overhead hoist. Across the second and third floors, Ivydene has eight bedrooms. Each room has access to a shared wet room and can be accessed via the stairs or lift.
Portswood Precinct is just a short walk from Ivydene and is a vibrant area with busy local shops. The people living at Ivydene are supported to access the local library, shops, bank and pubs. The people we support enjoy visiting Sprinkles ice cream parlour, Poppins café, the local church, pubs and shopping at the local supermarket. All of these are less than a five minute walk from the home. Southampton City centre is also a short drive away.
