Overview
Introducing The Knoll
The Knoll is a 24-hour residential home for 7 adults, situated in the seaside town of Southend, close to the seafront and a short walk away from local shops and other amenities. The home is designed to support people with learning disabilities who may also have complex health needs, and also caters to wheelchair users.
We support people living at The Knoll to lead active lives in which their individuality, independence, dignity, and respect are maintained. We fully embrace person centred planning, ensuring the person we support is at the centre in the delivery of our high-quality care and support.
The individuals we support at The Knoll are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities of their choice, including use of the home’s vehicle for day trips, walks to the local park, feeding the ducks at the pond, visiting the cinema, and summer strolls on the beach.

Our Services
Are outcome-focussed and highly person-centred.
Provide 24/7 residential care.
Provide activities tailored to the interest of the individuals we support both in and out of the home.
Are holistic, with person-centred care and support developed in collaboration with the people we support, their families and a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals.
The Team
The Home is led by an experienced and person- focused Manager. She manages a committed team who are dedicated in their delivery of good quality of care.
