Holly Bank Nursing Home is a family run care home providing high Quality of care and attention to residents, including those who with all nursing needs, dementia, respite care, terminally ill. It is 12 bed Nursing Home. All staff are passionate about our values, dignity, choice and comfort.
The Home is rated as ‘Good’ in all areas and in caring is ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission during our last inspection in 2020. This makes us one of the highest rated nursing homes in Southport.
It is situated close to Hasketh Park and the Promenade, Holly Bank is ideally placed to enjoy Southport’s many attractions. All rooms are well furnished in a traditional and homely style and come complete with adapted electronic profiling bed and chair so that residents are able to maintain their own independence in comfort and security. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms as per their choice adding personal home comfort to feel lively and retain their past memories.
An excellent choice of good home cooking is available every day, all prepared fresh on site. There is a wide selection of games and our activity coordinator helps to support residents to take part in whatever activities they choose. The Home is fully Wi-Fi enabled and there are tablets available to enable residents to video chat with friends and relatives, access the internet and watch specialist programme.
Residents have the use of codeless telephone whenever they want it and visiting is unrestricted with ample parking available. The Home enjoys regular visit of Ministers of all religious denomination as well as the private hairdresser every week. There are various seating areas in the garden giving residents the opportunity to sit outside on a warm days. In the summer months tea and garden parties are often held on the areas of the garden and designated with specific sensory plants to encourage a journey of reminiscence. At Holly Bank we welcome both private and financially assisted residents alike. Simply the best nursing home in Southport and we are registered to mostly from Norwood surgery and Cumberland surgery.
