Overview

Bamford Grange Care Home is a 79-bed care home providing General Nursing, EMI Residential, EMI Nursing and Mental health care. The home is broken up in to 5 units over two floors, each of the rooms are en-suite and service users are encouraged to personalise their rooms to help make them feel more homely. Each of the units has a spacious lounge and dining area.

Bamford Grange is situated in Adswood which is 8 minutes by car from the centre of Stockport Town Centre, we have local shops and post office within walking distance. We are only a short drive from Manchester city centre, close to the M60 and local train station, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat

Bamford Grange has an activities team who have strong connections with the local community and our events and activity programme includes something for everyone with the opportunity for lots of socialising or quiet time if preferred. If a service user has a hobby or pastime they enjoy, we’ll encourage them to continue it with us. Or perhaps they may like to rekindle a love of something or possibly learn something new. The important thing is that we treat every service user as an individual.

Our chef and catering team work to create meals that are both nutritious and tasty, using fresh seasonal ingredients. For extra variety, we also celebrate a range of occasions throughout the year with special meals and events. On the 21st June 2024 our kitchen was awarded with 5 on the door from the Environmental Health Officer
