Overview
Introducing Mount View
Mount View is located in a quaint village in Northumberland, the UK’s most famous and largest piece of public art. We empower the independence of the people we support, because we truly believe all people are capable of achieving the extraordinary. That’s why we provide a care support-partnership with the people we support tackling activities of everyday living, guided by the person’s individual needs and wants. Together, we build upon their existing skills and learn new ones to enable life to be lived on their terms.
We have an in-house activities coordinator to arrange activities both in and out of the home, such as arts and crafts sessions, qualified aromatherapy sessions, and trips out using company transport.
About Mount View
10 bedrooms which can be personalised to individual tastes - 2 bedrooms are en-suite.
Shared access to communal areas, including a large conservatory, sensory area, fitted lift, kitchen, two dining areas, two living rooms, two walk in shower rooms, two bathrooms, and a large garden perfect for summer months.
Local amenities within walking distance, including a doctor's surgery and local garage.
Strong public transport routes to Newcastle upon Tyne and the Metro Centre.
Our Services
Are outcome-focussed and highly person-centred.
Provide 24/7 residential care.
Provide activities tailored to the interest of the individuals we support both in and out of the home.
Are holistic, with person-centred care and support developed in collaboration with the people we support, their families and a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals.
The Team
At Mount View, the team is led by an experienced manager registered with the CQC. He manages a team of skilled and dedicated care support workers.
At a time that is right, we are able to offer a pathway to further independent living. This might include accessing one of our Supported Living or Outreach services. We strongly believe that every person we support should receive the right level of care in an environment that meets their needs wants and wishes. Please talk to us about how we can work with you to develop a transitions package.
