Rated ‘Outstanding’ in care (September 2019), The Hollies Care Home is a small loving independent family run care home, passionate in providing excellent person-centred residential care to 18 residents, specialising in mental health. Located in the Norton Town Centre, the Hollies has dedicated caring staff to attend to all the needs with all the amenities one may need on their doorstep. The home has recently converted its garden areas and applied to the CQC for an additional 19 rooms variation. This new room is ideal for someone with disability and has its own ensuite disabled shower cubicle a 19th room
Staff at Hollies believe strongly in the mission statement outlining their commitment to providing excellent care. All staff believe that people need to feel content and secure- physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Residents have a choice of a number of downstairs lounges, an internal garden and town centre location and access to local travel. The home cooks a varied menu providing fresh, nutritional and exciting food. the home recently installed a wheel in wheel out shower room for independent use by anyone needing wheelchair access. it is wheelchair friendly and the service has recently adopted the care Control digital care planning and management systems
