Sussexdown is a beautiful Care South home for nursing, residential and dementia care, set in stunning West Sussex surroundings. We are warmly welcoming new residents and inviting families and friends to share in the Food, Fun and Friendship on offer in this lovely West Sussex care home.

The home has extensive and beautifully manicured gardens for you to explore or simply relax in. Around the gardens and on the sunny terraces, you will find plenty of outdoor seating areas. Inside, there’s a choice of charmingly furnished lounges for you to enjoy with
other residents, as well as visiting family and friends. We also have our own well-stocked library and bar, an on-site hair salon, and a beautiful chapel which holds regular church services.

We encourage choice and independence in a home-from-home environment, with the support of our compassionate and professionally trained care team. At Sussexdown, there are 77 welcoming and comfortable fully furnished rooms. There are a variety of bright and spacious communal areas for residents to relax in and enjoy with family and friends, including elegant lounges, bright dining rooms and a bar.

Outside, the gardens, with mature trees and colourful flowers, can be explored via well maintained and accessible pathways and there’s plenty of seating dotted about, providing the perfect place to relax and unwind on a sunny day. Given our mission to provide residents in our care with the three F’s – Food, Fun and Friendship – mealtimes are very important to us and residents love coming together to
enjoy delicious, nutritious and wholesome meals with their friends.

Our menu is expertly crafted by our talented chefs, working closely with our Catering Operations Manager, and is cooked and prepared nsite by our skilled kitchen team. We are passionate about providing residents with high-quality food; therefore, we cater for all dietary equirements and meal preferences and always seek to maintain the same high standards when preparing alternative meals. We organise a rich and varied activities programme, which residents can take part in as much or as little as they wish, and we have our own on-site hairdressing salon.
