Overview
Orchard House Nursing Home is a nursing home in the area of Sutton, which can accommodate just under 40 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.
We are justifiably proud of our exceptional, long-serving team of staff. Whether you require respite, convalescence, post-hospital care, long-term, palliative or end of life care, you can trust in us to provide a stimulating and caring environment for your loved ones.
At Orchard House we understand that for every resident there is often a relative or loved one in need of support too. To that end, our staff are ready to reach out and offer assistance in any way they can.
Orchard House is located in quiet residential areas and provides easy access to all public transport services. Our bedrooms vary in size and are bright and airy. Residents are welcome to bring some of their own furnishings to make their room feel more like home. We offer a secure but homely environment that ensures that all of our residents’ health and social well being are promoted.
We give our Residents a quality of life by respecting and upholding their individual choices and delivering pain and symptom management to help them to live their last days in a dignified and cared for manner.
We liaise with Specialist Nurses (such as Care Home Support Team Sutton and St Raphael's Hospice), local churches, and community health and social care professionals. We also have a staff member who is qualified to give aromatherapy and gentle massage treatments if required.
We also love gatherings and parties and celebrate important dates. Families and friends are always invited to join the celebration to spend precious time together. Indeed, we treat each other as a family.
Orchard House is your home away from home and a lot more. We are surrounded with caring and understanding people who truly care.
We honour each resident's freedoms, beliefs and choices to promote a sense of self and independence.
We encourage activities and participation, but understand that all our residents have different definitions of happiness.
We pride ourselves on providing a safe and stimulating living environment for resident's to thrive both mentally and physically.
We foster strong relationships between staff, residents and their families to ensure resident's lives are made happier and more fulfilled.
Our team at Orchard House Nursing Home isn’t just a group of care professionals; they’re a caring family. Together, we create an environment where residents can live life to the fullest, knowing they are surrounded by people who genuinely care about their well-being and happiness.
