Everyone living and working at Barclay Gardens can genuinely feel they are among friends. Residents can decide where and how they spend their time either quietly in their room, taking part in the variety of activities, or walking through the courtyard at the heart of the home

Activities
Our specially trained and enthusiastic activities staff are excellent at helping our residents enjoy their life with us at Barclay Gardens where our staff work with residents to create a week by week schedule of activities to include a mix of physical, social, creative, recreational, sensory, relaxation and reminiscence.

In addition to the rich and varied activity programme at Barclay Gardens, staff also arrange outings to local areas of interest, organise events throughout the year and provide wonderful entertainment.

Food & Drink
We encourage residents to get involved in day-to-day life in the home from housekeeping and baking to growing vegetables and keeping busy in the garden.

As well as serving lunch, we make sure our residents have easy access to snacks and drinks throughout the day and night. Proper nutrition and hydration are essential to health and wellbeing.

We cater to all dietary requirements including supplements and following assessment guidance by the Speech and Language Team (SaLT). Barclay Gardens meals are freshly prepared on site by a qualified chef using locally sourced produce and we cater for all requirements including vegan, vegetarian, dairy or gluten-free diets.
