Overview
At Theoc House, we offer support for up to 10 individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, challenging behaviour, and epilepsy. We work closely with you and your family or friends to create a personalised rehabilitation programme that addresses your specific needs and goals.
Our rehabilitation programmes are designed to integrate smoothly into your daily life. We aim to help you regain lost skills and develop new ones to increase your independence. Progress is closely monitored through Goal Attainment Scaling. The core of our support includes various therapies, such as Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Psychology, all tailored to your evolving needs.
Theoc House features seven bedrooms in the main building, alongside two self-contained flats – one with a single bedroom and the other with two bedrooms. These flats offer a great environment for those looking to increase their independence while still benefiting from residential support.
All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and the option for ceiling tracking if needed. Our home is fully wheelchair accessible, with features such as hoists, adjustable countertops, lifts, and a wet room. We also have a private garden with a patio area, raised beds, a basketball hoop, and a boxing bag to help residents stay active and aid their rehabilitation. Additional facilities include a gym and a dedicated therapy room for on-site treatment. Family involvement is encouraged, and we regularly host social events like summer barbecues and other celebrations.
