The home offers high-quality residential care, short-term respite care and sensitive end-of-life care. The dedicated team specialise in dementia care and has extensive expertise in understanding and caring for those living with this condition.
While many individuals may initially prefer the familiarity of their own homes, circumstances sometimes necessitate alternative options. The Lodge strives to create a homely environment within the premises, which have been thoughtfully adapted to accommodate the unique needs of our residents.
The Lodge has been designed and furnished in order to make it feel non-institutional and homely together with being well managed, organised, equipped and maintained to the highest standard.
The Lodge understands that high quality care is best achieved with good, reliable and knowledgeable staff. All the staff are employed through a strict recruitment procedure and they provide a high standard of individual care by having on-going training, supervision and development. Care staff are either qualified or working towards a minimum of NVQ level two. A care manager is on duty seven days a week to supervise the team and one manager is dedicated to regular performance reviews and evaluation. The home maintains high levels of staffing all day, every day through our dedicated care team.
