Overview
Chantry Gardens supports three individuals who have physical and learning disabilities.
Our picturesque bungalow benefits from a range of communal spaces, including a lounge and kitchen. Our lounge is decorated with pictures chosen by the people we support, as well as items that have been created by them, such as drawings, paintings and tapestries. Each individual has their own bedroom, which can be decorated to reflect their personal style and taste.
We also have a quiet room where individuals can relax however they choose. At the back of the home there is a large garden overlooking fields, providing a space for outdoor activities and relaxation. The people we support enjoy taking part in activities such as arts and crafts, film evenings, relaxation sessions, reading, music / karaoke and games, as well as community activities.
Chantry Gardens is close to Trowbridge which has a cinema, restaurants and shops. There are a number of beautiful and historic towns situated close to us, such as Frome and Bradford on Avon. We're also close to Bath, where we enjoy going for days out and shopping. In Southwick there is a small charity funded café which employs people who have disabilities, frequented by the people we support.
