Introducing Menna House
Menna is situated in a quiet rural location near the village of Grampound Road which lies between two ancient clay towns of St Austell and Truro. The village has a small shop, pub, and post office as well as a large recreation area. There is a local bus service to the nearby towns which offer a range of shops, restaurants, pubs, leisure and entertainment venues, a local library, the Eden Project, and the National Trust venues as well as costal walk area and beaches.
About Menna House
The main part of the house accommodates four adults and consists of three spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities and a small flat, with a lounge and kitchenette area, bedroom with en-suite situated on the first floor. Connecting with the main part of the house there is a self-contained single person apartment with its own spacious lounge with dining facilities, a light and airy bedroom with en-suite bathroom upstairs and patio doors in the lounge leading to a private garden area. Downstairs is a large dining room, kitchen, main communal lounge, and a sensory room with sensory facilities to help PWS to relax. The main lounge has a 65-inch TV with leather sofas and two large windows looking onto the front garden areas.
All bedrooms have an en-suite with electric shower, sink and toilet and will be tastefully decorated to a high standard of personal choice of decor.
Each bedroom is decorated to personal choice, has wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet with space for a TV and personal items of choice to help make it their own.
All bedrooms have a lockable medication storage facility for the individual’s medication to be stored safely.
There is also office space for the storage of information, with access to wi-fi / broadband to use with Ipad of laptops.
Menna has front and back large lawned gardens with areas of beautiful flowers, a swing, and garden furniture as well as wooden benches and private sitting areas. The Service will also offer residents the benefit of sensory equipment, along with structured in-house and social activities in the local community.
