Overview

Carville Road is a specialist brain injury service, supporting 12 individuals. The service also provides support for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and those with behaviours that challenge.

Our home has been built with accessibility in mind, boasting a lift, wet room, ceiling tracking and hoists fitted to offer support to those with mobility needs. There are a range of communal areas including a therapy room, a training kitchen, three living rooms, a large kitchen-diner, gym and a private garden. For added comfort, we’ve also installed under-floor heating throughout the home. We have two bedrooms on the ground floor and a further 10 rooms upstairs, including two flats with en-suite bathrooms – perfect for individuals wanting to leverage more freedom and privacy!

Our home is located in Wallsend, North Tyneside, a town that has a rich Roman history. There’s an accessible metro system nearby, which we use for trips to the coast towns such as Tynemouth, as well as cities such as Newcastle and Sunderland. There is good access to local amenities and transport routes for enjoying cultural, social and recreational facilitates.
