The friendly and understanding team at Lancaster Court are well equipped and highly trained to care for people living with varying levels of dementia and its various associated behaviours. Our Wellbeing Lead aims to help keep spirits high by providing appropriate, stimulating and reminiscence activities to encourage communication, reduce the risk of isolation and improve overall wellbeing.

If available, we also offer short stay care breaks, commonly known as respite care, affording home carers to enjoy a very well-deserved break. We’ll listen and assess the needs of your loved one to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay throughout.

Plus, residents can benefit from our weekly hairdressing service and other personal care services, such as nail treatments, pedicures and chiropody*. Our chefs and catering team offer a delicious choice of multi-course meal options, planned in line with residents’ preferences. Mealtimes really are a sociable highlight of the day. A selection of snacks and beverages are always available, to satisfy taste buds in between mealtimes. We also cater for texture modified diets, for residents with a neurological condition, such as dementia, who may have an increased risk of choking.
