Bosworth Care Home provides a safe and homely environment within a real village community. Situated in the heart of Weymouth, Bosworth is positioned within easy reach of a GP practice, local shops, a nature reserve, and tea rooms with the award-winning beach just a short distance away.
Our care home is located in a serene environment within its private grounds and in proximity to local amenities such as shops, a beautiful beach, and restaurants/cafes. As well as providing high-quality care and support for our residents, we also care about their families too. We don’t have set visiting times, and our door is always open for a chat. We also have a quarterly residents’ and families’ forum and listen to feedback and suggestions.
Social activities
We place great emphasis on social activities and maintaining the type of life you have had at home, whether that is a quiet and relaxed lifestyle or an active lifestyle. We are situated adjacent to the nature reserve, so you can enjoy an afternoon watching the wildlife and enjoying the beauty of nature, whilst relaxing in our outdoor seating areas. Especially in the summer months. we make the most of living a few minutes from the seaside and spend afternoons on the promenade, either having an ice cream on the seafront or enjoying fresh fish and chips. Our residents enjoy regular activities including crafts, games, raffles and trips out. Our social activities programme is put together by our Activities Coordinators who ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Dining
At Bosworth Care Home you will be served freshly prepared home-cooked meals by our team of expert chefs. They ensure all our meals are healthy, nutritionally balanced and, most importantly, locally sourced wherever possible. Meals are served in our superb dining room, but you also have the option for food to be served in your room for a more private dining experience.
Bedrooms
We have 19 bedrooms for people living at Bosworth Care Home, three of which can accommodate couples. The majority of rooms have ensuite and others have ensuite wet rooms. The rooms without ensuite have accessible toilets, bathrooms or wet rooms within easy reach.
Most of the bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to our garden with their very own private sun patio with room for a table and chairs. The majority of our first-floor rooms are south-facing allowing abundant natural light for most of the day.
Gardens
Bosworth Care Home boasts a stunning frontage, with a beautifully maintained lawn that overlooks the breath-taking Weymouth Nature Reserve and the sparkling sea beyond. If you love to relax outdoors, we provide a lovely setting with a table and chairs set up on the front lawn.
As we are situated adjacent to the nature reserve, you have the opportunity to watch the wildlife and enjoy the beauty of nature while also getting involved in gardening.
