Overview

Welcome to Earsdon Grange

Located in the residential area of Wellfield, less than 2 miles from the seaside town of Whitley Bay, Earsdon Grange is an award-winning purpose-built care home offering residential and dementia residential care as well as respite breaks.

The home is a two-storey building with a secure garden located at the back of the home and patio and gardens at the front. The ground floor of the home houses residential clients and has a coffee shop with a conservatory attached, TV lounge and dining room. The first floor of the home has a cinema room, lounge and dining room for dementia residents to enjoy.

Food is a huge aspect of the care at Earsdon Grange and the home has a 5-star Food Hygiene rating. The Cook loves home baking and bakes fresh scones, cakes, birthday cakes daily in the kitchen for the hospitality trolley as well as a choice of breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper at the home. Friday is always fish and chips and Sunday they have a roast dinner.

The home is accessible by car and has a small car park at the front of the home in the unnumbered bays as well as on-street parking. The closest Metro Station to the home is West Monkseaton located on Earsdon Road or the local buses 57, 57A, W1 and W1A which have a pickup and drop off point at the Metro Station and then a .05 mile walk to the home.

Earsdon Grange benefits from strong links to the local community thanks to a full-time activities coordinator who provides a programme of activities, entertainment, and events that the residents can choose from.

Their door is always open to visitors and they will be delighted to send you further information in the post including brochure, sample menu and sample activities pack or pop in to visit. They look forward to seeing you.
