Overview

Holywell House Care Centre is a home in the Holywell area of Whitley Bay, which can accommodate just over 47 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.
The home has a dedicated Male unit (Dene View) and has capacity for 17 residents and provides dementia care, Parkinson's disease care, Behaviour's that challenge and other specialised behaviours.
Holywell also has a dedicated dementia unit (Woodside) on the first floor that has capacity for 16 residents. The room's have an ensuite toilet and a vanity basin.
Our residential unit (Henderson) is housed on the ground floor of the home and has 14 rooms with ensuite toilet and a vanity basins.
The home has an extensive patio area that can be used throughout the year for event's and activities especially in the summer months when residents and their families come together for BBQ's and entertainment.
There is a good range of resident activities going on on a daily basis with a dedicated wellbeing and lifestyle coordinator. Holywell currently has 55 staff and the pool of carers is growing weekly. We have overseas staff that have been a very welcome addition to the home. The home is working towards accreditation into the GSF of End of Life care. Pets are allowed to visit the home with their owners.
