Overview
We specialise in providing residential, residential dementia and respite care for your loved ones.
Offering peaceful and quiet surroundings, Halton View Residential Care Home is based 15 minutes from Warrington, 45 minutes from Chester and 30 minutes from Liverpool. Our purpose-built home is in a town location and within just walking distance of local amenities.
Our team always provides each of our residents with an individualised care plan, including a comprehensive assessment of their needs when they move in. We believe that this allows us to prepare and provide a unique and high level of care to each of the residents who stay with us. Our kind and caring staff are here to ensure that all our residents’ needs are met and that the care given is person-centred.
All 63 bedrooms are wheelchair accessible and include internet access, TV aerial sockets for residents to use at their will, and of course, nurse call systems for their safety and wellbeing. We also encourage the people who reside with us to personalise their rooms with items of furniture, photographs, memorabilia and even their pets, by arrangement, in the hope that this will make their new room feel more like their own.
Meals times at Barnfield are protected, and we welcome friends and relatives to join our residents for meals in the home prepared on site by our team in the 5-Star kitchen. We cater for all celebrations of our residents and any dietary and cultural requirements they may have. We offer a wide choice of delicious home cooked meals so our residents will always find something to their taste and of course, we understand that sometimes they just want a quiet meal by themselves in the comfort of their room so we always give them this option. We also ensure fresh snacks, fruit and refreshments are available around the clock ensuring our residents are never too peckish in between meals.
Our homemade food is prepared on site in the 5-Star kitchen by our team who caters for all dietary and cultural requirements at meals times as well as any celebrations our residents may wish to share with us all. Family members and friends are always welcome to join their relatives at meal times, creating a perfect opportunity for people to catch up. We have snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments available around the home 24/7 and offer our residents to have meals in their own room if they just want some peace and quiet. We also have special and themed meal nights, ensuring that no-one gets bored at meal times.
The living areas in our Cheshire home consist of 3 communal lounges for our residents to socialise and chat in as well as 1 quiet lounge, great for when you just want a peaceful day. We even have our own tea room which creates the perfect opportunity for our residents to enjoy a cuppa and catch up with their relatives or friends. We also have 3 TV rooms, a lift and 4 kitchenettes for our residents and visitors alike to use.
Halton View offers a peaceful and serene place for our residents to relax in. Our enclosed courtyard garden has comfortable seating areas and wheelchair access for our residents to take full advantage of during the summer months and our secure patio area means that residents don’t have to sit outside to enjoy the view of our outdoors on chillier days.
An activity room means that our residents can be in the company of people who want to participate in activities as much as they do, creating great bonding experiences between all our residents.
