Trewan House in Hough Green, Widnes, is a homely, comfortable and secure converted vicarage with a purpose built double-storey facility. Featuring 43 en-suite bedrooms and bright communal areas including recently refurbished cinema room, we strive to create a stimulating, home-from-home environments for our residents. With a team of dedicated and highly-trained staff, Trewan House prides itself on delivering high-quality care to residents that prioritises their independence, dignity and individuality. Each and every person who comes to stay with us is given a personalised individual care plan, which takes into account their preferences and unique needs. Our mission is to continue to create a community driven residential care home in Widnes, that priorities both the physical and mental wellbeing of residents at all time. Our philosophy is wholly centred around choice and our dedicated team goes above and beyond every day to support each of our residents and ensure they retain their dignity, independence, and individuality as they look towards the future with optimism.

We aim to create a homely and welcoming atmosphere for each resident by taking the time to get to know them as individuals and understanding what matters most to them. As such, we strive to provide personalised care plans that meet their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.

Dining
Our carefully crafted menus are designed to meet the nutritional and dietary needs of our residents. We use locally sourced, fresh ingredients as much as possible in all of our meals. Our chefs take great care to ensure that their dishes are cooked to perfection, achieving maximum flavour and texture.

Activities
Our team strive hard to provide plenty of engaging activities which help stimulate body and mind. We have a wide selection of activities tailored to suit the individual needs and interests of our residents, ranging from arts & crafts sessions to gardening projects, puzzles and more! There’s something for everyone here at our care home.

At Trewan House, we know that dementia requires a personalised approach. With this in mind, our expert team of carers develop and implement tailored plans for each individual resident who joins us. This plan is based upon the needs, abilities and wishes of each person, ensuring that their physical and mental health is given priority at all times.
