Our home provides excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. Our experienced and dedicated team are ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focuses on the individual needs of each resident.

When you arrive at Hyacinth House, we’ll sit down together to understand you, your life story and your needs. This includes any objectives you have, or specific health concerns. We’ll then create a personal care plan together with you, your relatives and our carers.

Our team of qualified and dedicated staff are committed to providing professional and respectful care, with residents at the heart of everything they do. Essential to our homely feel is the enhanced relationship of trust built with family, friends and those we support.

The features and facilities are designed to the highest standards to enhance the lives of residents, and the care we provide is delivered by professionals who are committed to making this home an exceptional place to live. We understand how difficult choosing a care home for a loved one can be, so all our services are devised to make this process as smooth as possible, and our staff are always on hand to give you advice, should you need it.

Residential care is 24-hour, long-term care offered in a care home. Predominantly, residential care homes are designed for elderly with low care needs, who need considerable assistance with day-to-day tasks.

Residential care homes offer a safe place for elderly people, who are looked after according to their needs, such as help with washing, mobility and medication. They're designed to be homely, with the opportunity to take up hobbies, enjoy regular activities, and facilitate older people in living meaningful lives.

We offer residential care, Respite Care and Short Breaks.

Residential carers ensure that residents always have someone on hand to help with daily life activities. Each individual is treated as such, and has a tailored care plan inclusive of their individual dietary requirements, hobbies and life stories. Care homes are very much a community within themselves, and the opportunities for socialisation and group activities are hugely valuable in helping to combat loneliness. Families of residents can also have peace of mind that their loved one is well cared for, and in a sociable and enriching environment.

Respite care offers a break from the day-to-day care routine, with a change of scenery, the opportunity for socialisation and new experiences, while providing a seamless continuity of care.
Short term respite care is also a great opportunity to trial what life in a care home is like, and is often the first step towards moving into permanent residency in a care home.
