Overview
Situated on the banks of the River Mersey, Derwent Lodge provides a relaxed and homely atmosphere. The staff here at Derwent Lodge offer exceptional comfort and care. Visitors to the home comment on how friendly the staff and management are.
The home offers a large communal lounge on the ground floor that has floor to ceiling windows providing a spectacular view of the River Mersey, looking out on to the sky line of Liverpool. The communal lounge has access to a small outside patio area with a ramp to accommodate anyone wishing to enjoy the view.
To the rear of the home we have a further much larger outside patio area where residents and their families are able to enjoy the garden. We have a smaller communal lounge for families to use if they wish to have more private time or for a family gathering. All staff are trained in Dementia & end of life Care.
Residents are encouraged to personalise their private bedrooms however they wish so as to reflect their personalities. Families are supported to be as much a part of their loved ones daily life as possible. We invite families to participate in our communal social calendar.
