Overview
Mandalay is a residential care home supporting six women people with learning disabilities and associated needs, such as epilepsy.
Each person we support has their own double bedroom with en-suite facilities, with six bedrooms divided evenly across the ground floor and the first floor. Each bedroom is decorated in line with the tastes and preferences of the people we support. Mandalay has a number of relaxing communal areas, including our sensory room and large private garden. There is also a large dining room, kitchen, utility area and lounge complete with comfy sofas for our regular Disney film nights in.
Our home is situated in Witham, Essex and is a two-minute walk from the town centre, where lots of shops and amenities are available. Mandalay is easily accessed by public transport; there is a bus stop directly outside and the nearest train station is half a mile away so it is easy to travel to London, Clacton and other nearby places.
