Overview
Beaufort House is a Registered Care Home that is situated in Knaphill and can accommodate seven service users - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Beaufort House also offers the following short stay services; respite care.
Knaphill is a village within a few miles of Woking town centre, in the heart of Surrey, in the green and leafy south-east. Knaphill has a range of shopping, social, sporting and religious amenities. Nearby Woking benefits from beautiful and diverse countryside but also a bustling centre and its sparkling mix of entertainment, convenient shopping and special town centre events.
There are acres of common land and miles of waterways offering a relaxing retreat and the chance for a leisurely walk.
For superb live entertainment, look no further than The Ambassadors Theatre and cinema complex, where the best West End shows bring musicals and drama, international dance and world famous opera to Woking.
A host of free town centre events take place throughout the year, celebrating the special days of Woking’s many cultures, and many annual events are supported by the Council.
At Beaufort House all service users have their own bedrooms. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms which are suitable for persons with an additional physical disability and a specialist bath and walk in shower. There are four bedrooms on the first floor and two bathrooms one of which has a walk in bath. Additional mobility aids will be made available according to the needs of the residents.
Communal facilities include a large lounge, a small lounge and dining room, together with a kitchen/breakfast room and separate utility room. The dining room has access through patio doors in to the garden. The office is also situated on the ground floor close to the front door.
