We are proud to be a Quality Premium Home as awarded by Derbyshire County Council. Our aim is to offer a secure, relaxed, warm and homely environment for people receiving our service, and the highest standards of care possible. Their care, well-being and comfort are of prime importance.

We promise quality care for people, catering for individuality, dignity and self-respect. This can be in the form of short or long term care and day service. We very much welcome couples at Hollybank so that people can be kept together in our double rooms, if they so wish. Our service is delivered in line with the Care Quality Commission's regulated activities standards.

We are located in the village of Creswell approximately 5 miles from the nearest town of Worksop and 20 miles from Sheffield. Our location also provides easy access to the M1.

Hollybank enjoys strong links with the local community. The registered manager/matron Margaret Dibb is a registered nurse and has had many years' experience in both the NHS and in the private sector, specialising in the care of older people, and who is supported by Lorna Steel, deputy matron and registered mental health.

Hollybank offers 24 hour care for people requiring residential and nursing care. Our nursing team have varied expertise, skills and knowledge in the care of people who require palliative, nursing or dementia care. This enables us as a team to have an holistic approach to the service we provide.

From the moment you enter Hollybank you can be sure that you will benefit from the positive and warm atmosphere we adopt and be welcomed instantly. You will be treated as an individual who wants to live life to the full.

Visitors, friends and relatives are welcome at any reasonable time, and families are encouraged to be actively involved in your personal care programme. Should you choose, and by prior arrangement, visitors are welcome to join you for meals.

We believe that when you receive our service, you should not only expect the highest standards of care, but also optimum possible quality of life. Our staff give attention to small detail, creating a carefree environment where life can be enjoyed to the full. Nothing is too much trouble, simply ask.
