Overview
Falcons Rest is a purpose-built property designed to meet the needs of six people with a learning disability who also have a physical disability and/or sensory impairment. At Poachers Cottage we support eight people who have learning disabilities and complex physical needs, including epilepsy and PEG feeding.
Falcons Rest has six spacious bedrooms, each with its own high specification level access shower room. Each respective bedroom has potential for ceiling mounted sling hoists and tracking to provide safe and dignified support to those who need it. There is also a specialist bathroom as well as spacious communal areas.
Poachers Cottage is a bright, spacious building with a big lounge and a separate room for arts, crafts and activities, a kitchen, a large sensory/relaxation area and a dining room. The home has beautiful grounds, ideal for barbecues or just relaxing. The outside areas are wheelchair accessible and suitable for individuals with mobility needs. The eight bedrooms are all on one floor and each has its own en-suite toilet and wash facilities, with some also having en-suite showers. There is a large shared bathroom within the home.
Falcons Rest and Poachers Cottage are set in a beautiful semi-rural environment, with easy access to Hereford and a broad range of community activities. Each person is encouraged to develop and experience a wide range of activities with full support.
