Overview
Camowen is a well-established independent residential care home registered for twenty residents in the quiet and desirable area of Worthing. The home has twenty single rooms, nineteen with en-suite facilities and has recently been refurbished. It is set in lovely grounds creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquility
The owner and management have many years’ experience of providing professional care to the elderly in a safe, friendly family atmosphere. Camowen provides professional, compassionate care to all residents who are always treated with individuality dignity and respect.
The home is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of residents and attention to detail is paramount. Care workers are vigilant to ensure that the facilities, policies, activities and services are always resident led and residents are allowed to live their lives the way they choose. Care services are delivered in accordance with agreed contracts of care and promote privacy, dignity, choice and independence.

Staff are known for their warmth, patience and respect for the needs of residents whilst providing holistic care. The service is further enhanced by the full support of local doctors and community nurses, providing a comprehensive range of care that meets all resident’s care needs and personal preferences.
There are several types of stay depending on the level of support required, residential care, respite care, convalescence and palliative care. The home accepts local authority and privately funded residents.
For residents to feel truly at home, they are able to bring their personal possessions and pets can be accommodated by arrangement.
