About Us

Belvedere is a home in the area of Accrington.

Belvedere was initially a purpose-built Care Home operated by the Lancashire County Council. It

was closed in November 2005. It was then purchased in June 2006, and went through complete

refurbishment.

Belvedere is close to the town centre. We have 2 bus stops on either side of the building covering

2 bus routes.

All rooms are single with en-suite facilities, some are designed to be used as double (wife and

husband or partners) if required.

The Top (2nd Floor) floor will accommodate 13 Residents,

Middle Floor (1st Floor) will accommodate 11 Residents. This floor offers 1 lounge/dinning room

and a quiet room.

Ground Floor will accommodate 13 Residents. This floor offers a Treatment Room, as well as two

lounges and dining rooms.

Each bedroom (all en-suite) has a bed, bedside cabinet and bedside lamp, chest of drawers,

wardrobe, commode/wheelchair (if required) VIA OT and comfortable chair. Each bedroom will still have

sufficient space for Residents own furniture, should they wish to bring such with them. Each

bedroom has a minimum of one/two double electric sockets. All bedrooms have Nurse call

facilities. Every bedroom has a TV aerial connection. Residents can have a telephone and SKY (at

their own costs) connected in their bedroom should they wish to do so.

There are total of three bathrooms, one bathroom on each floor. There are also 2 walk in

showers one on the middle floor and one on ground floor.
