About Us

At Springfield Vale, we’ve collaborated with the University of Stirling to design a purpose-built home with dementia-friendly spaces.
We’ve implemented their evidence-based environmental design principles to offer a non-pharmacological approach to support responsive behaviours associated with dementia.
Our dementia-friendly environment considers: lighting, décor, furnishings, signage, noise, and outdoor space.
This helps people independently and safely navigate their home, and meaningfully engage in as many day-to-day tasks as possible.
Across three small units, our nurse-led team provides person-centred nursing care that maximises independence and promotes positive outcomes.
Many of the people we support have multiple diagnoses, complexities, and risks that would otherwise require hospital or higher acuity care.
With our support, individuals can remain in the community, close to family and friends, reducing the need for hospital or secure facility admissions.
Through our multidisciplinary approach, robust assessments, and needs-based staffing levels, we ensure the right care, from the right team, at the right time.
