At Solid Rock Care Ltd., we provide personalised domiciliary care to adults in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Based in Houghton Conquest, Bedford, we welcome enquiries from individuals and families across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire, as well as neighbouring counties within a practical travelling distance of our team. Availability is agreed according to your location, care needs and preferred visit times.
Our carers offer personal care, companionship, dementia care, support with behaviours that challenge, mental health support, and palliative and end-of-life care. We also help adults recovering after an operation or hospital stay and those living with physical disabilities, Parkinson’s disease, stroke or diabetes. Each care package is assessed individually to ensure we can provide the right support. Whether you need hourly visits, live-in care, overnight support or 24-hour assistance, we will work with you to explore suitable arrangements.
We value choice and inclusivity, offering culturally sensitive care, LGBTQ+ inclusive support, and English or French language support. We aim to accommodate preferences for male or female carers, subject to availability. Practical assistance can include companionship, domestic tasks, meal preparation, dietary support, shopping, transport arrangements, accompanied outings and help with everyday routines in homes with pets.
We welcome self-funded care enquiries and care funded by local authorities or NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC), subject to agreed funding and commissioning arrangements. Hourly care starts from £24.80, with a personalised quotation based on your needs, location and visit arrangements.
